Common singing and group voice
improvisation.
Our voice is a perfect instrument and all the other instruments are inspired
by it. All the instruments of the world are therefore concealed inside us. The
more we master them, the more liberately we can use them, the more we get to
know ourselves. Our voice reveals everything about us and we can express
anything through singing. Improvization of one or many voices is like
painting… Improvization does not expect anything… does not judge
anything… just flowers and flows… we just have to connect…
feel… sense… listen… this is the way how we get to know
ourselves.
Antonia Nyass
She is one of the four singers of the music group Yellow Sisters. Her method
of work with voice leads to a polyphonic singing where the singers create shared
composition, they become lively and variable whole, they are able to listen and
sing at the same time. She works as a music therapist in the foundation Amelie,
that associates women with oncological deseases. Together with her husband Papis
Nyass she organizes drumming, dancing and voice workshops. In addition to the
art of expressing through the voice, she also spreads wonderful, open and
adventurous attitude to life.
