Nonviolent Communication - So That Adult and Child Can Thrive

15 – 16 May 2021

Pardubice

A Nonviolent Communication Workshop for parents and child care providers, as well as for adult children who want to improve or understand communication between them and their parents.

Would you agree that there is no task more challenging, more complex, more demanding, more exhausting, and ultimately more important than raising children?

Caring for children is a commitment to stewarding life itself, and many parents and child care providers suffer terribly from the thought that they must do so perfectly.
So that adult and child can thrive is an intensive training for people wishing to integrate the principles and practice of Nonviolent Communication into the choices they make as child-care providers and as parents.

Over the course of the workshop we will focus on:

  • How we wish our children to learn our wisdom and our values.
  • How we think about what motivates behavior.
  • How we choose to listen, both to ourselves and to children.
  • How we choose to speak to both ourselves and to children.

NVC support us to interact with children with our purpose clear in our minds and hearts, and with the awareness to look beyond behavior, both ours and our children’s, and instead focus on the needs that motivate all of our actions. When people increase their capacity to understand human needs, they significantly increase the options available to them to raise children based on their deepest and most cherished values.
