Sounder Sleep System™ - Sleep as the Elixir of Life
weekend 21 – 22 February 2026

Sleep quality determines not only how we feel in everyday life. The degree of restoration of the organism, its nourishment, the ability to defend against illness, balance of the nervous system and our biological age, all of this depends on the daily depth and quality of sleep. The original weekend seminar Sounder Sleep System™ led by the most experienced American instructor Paris Kern will introduce you in practice to a brilliant system of special effective movements for falling asleep and achieving unusual depth of sleep. Two types of movements DayTamers™ and NightTamers™ work synergistically, transferring us from a wakeful state into deep physical and mental calm and creating conditions for a good night’s sleep.

To transform the quality of your sleep and gain the ability to fall asleep well, this method relies exclusively on your own body. Simple physical movements that you perform yourself are enough. DayTamers™ – Day Tamers reduce stress, tension and anxiety during the day, calm and make life more pleasant and subsequently sleep as well. NightTamers™ – Night Tamers, small, gentle sleep-inducing movements, help you lull yourself to sleep at night and help you fall asleep quickly if you wake up in the middle of the night.

The key to change is daily practice of these movements, because your nervous system needs time to adapt. The repetition alone will improve your overall comfort, day and night. Some people find they sleep more peacefully after just one workshop, but usually three weeks are needed for the effects to fully manifest and register in our system. You practice gently, without anyone being able to notice, and you don’t need dedicated time for it. You do it while you would otherwise be waiting to fall asleep.

About the method
Sounder Sleep System™ evolved from the work of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, whose method was targeted for better sleep purposes by Michael Krugman, founder of Sounder Sleep System™. The system is based on findings from contemporary neuroscience and sleep research, utilizing effective principles of traditional and modern self-healing methods. However, it has an original conception and a specific way of use in practice.
Its basic principle is the use of two opposing properties of the nervous system, excitation and inhibition. We fall asleep when the brain tends toward inhibition. It is well known that fast, energetic physical movements will wake you up. At the opposite end of the movement spectrum, we find that tiny, slow bodily movements directly activate the parasympathetic nervous system and trigger the body’s innate mechanisms for rest, regeneration and healing. These gentle movements performed throughout the day and before sleep trigger and amplify the inhibitory process and lead to natural, peaceful and nourishing sleep.
Sounder Sleep System™ has become renowned not only in America. Its effectiveness has been tested and proven by thousands of students around the world.

Paris Kern (USA)
She is a community builder and teacher of the Sounder Sleep System® and an accredited teacher of the Feldenkrais Method. She completed Krugman’s first teacher training and in 2019 created new content for the teacher training and the Sounder Sleep System textbook. Over the years, she has taught the Sounder Sleep System and the Feldenkrais Method in Asia, Australia, South and North America, Great Britain, Europe and the Middle East, and her trainings have reached thousands of people. A growing number of new instructors and the growing need for stress reduction, anxiety relief and improved sleep is inspiring more and more people to embrace this amazing system.
Each personal encounter with Paris reveals her grounded and inspiring personality. She brings a compassionate and lighthearted approach to her work. She can simplify the complex theories and principles of the Sounder Sleep System® and the Feldenkrais Method®. Through stories and demonstrations, she demystifies challenging concepts and brings a common-sense approach to her work.
